HARRODS SCHOOL OF APPLIED AND ALLIED SCIENCES established in 1988 is subsidiary of ADVANCE TUTORIAL EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY duly incorporated and registered under companies Act 1860, with the office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies Govt. of Sindh, Karachi, Pakistan under the Societies Registration Act 1860, with major objective to promote education.
The School is established to meet the growing demands of employees in the business world for academically and professionally competent as efficient employees. The qualifications and the academic awards issued y the HSAAS are internationally recognized throughout the business world. The centre is functioning under the Board of Trustees of HSAAS and other official representatives, to look after all administrative and academic affairs of the centre to ensure high quality education.
 
 
 
The centre contributes the commercial and business activities of Pakistan by producing academically and professionally sound graduates to serve commercial and business organization of Pakistan. This major aim to serve commercial business organizations of Pakistan is transpated into action to the following objectives.
 
   
 
     
 

• To provide high-quality, professional and academic educational programs at appropriate post-secondary diploma and degree levels for persons preparing themselves for, or engaged in, careers in business, public services and law.

• To make educational programs available that most conveniently serve its students and the employing organizations.

• To provide educational opportunities for qualified students not currently served by other post-secondary educational institutions.

• To operate on a year-round basis, scheduling both day and evening classes to enable students to pursue their studies toward a degree, diploma or associate diploma or n a continuing education basis.

• To conduct seminars, workshops and contract programs designed to meet the special career or professional development needs of individuals and organizations.

• To respond quickly and innovatively t new educational needs through curriculum advisory committees, full-time faculty, and professional contacts between college staff and representatives of the business. Government and legal communities to monitor the relevance of programs.

• To develop in students a mastery of the concepts, theory and current practice of their chosen fields of professional specialization and competence in related and essential tools subjects.

• To provide efficient administrative support to its academic programs and students so as to maximize educational effectiveness and facilitate its students progress.

• To assist students with appropriate to placements, both upon graduation and throughout their careers.

• To provide each student with the opportunity for self-development through specially designed programs in language and communication skills, and professional growth and development.

• To provide for faculty development through advance study and research projects which encourage professional growth and which consequently enrich the quality of their teaching

Advance Tutorial Educational Society (ATES), a non profit organization, is duly registered on 24th November 1994 with the Office of the registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Government of Sindh, Karachi, Pakistan, under the Societies Registration Act 1860, with the major objective to promote education.
